Questions you’ll practice
Common phrasings of what this interview asks, and what each one tests. An AI PA program interviewer works from your own application, so expect follow-ups on what you say.

Tests: you understand the PA role specifically

“Tell me about a patient encounter that stayed with you.”
Tests: reflection from your patient care hours

Tests: understanding of how PAs practice with physicians
-

Tests: awareness of the profession beyond your application

Tests: resilience for an accelerated, intense program
-
“Tell me about a team that wasn’t getting along.”

The interview is where your hours become a story they remember.
Know what to change before the real interview
See where your answer lost its point, what was missing and what to try next. Your own words, with feedback on each question and scores across four skills.
You know the role, but “why PA” sounded like “why not medicine”.
“I mean, med school is a really long path, and as a PA I can still…”
Say what draws you to the PA role itself, with one PA you watched work.
-
“Why PA, and not medicine or nursing?”
Framed as a shortcut. Make it a choice, with a moment from your hours.
-
“Tell me about a patient encounter that stayed with you.”
Vivid and specific. Finish on what you do differently now.
-
“Why our program?”
Answered directly. Name one thing on the program’s page that fits you.
Illustrative example. Your scores will differ.
“I have plenty of patient-care hours. What I needed was practice turning one of those moments into a clear answer, without telling the whole shift.”
One question, and what a strong answer does
An example of the kind of question you’ll be asked, and what the feedback looks for.
“A patient asks you not to tell the supervising physician about a symptom. What do you do?”
Follow-up: “What if they say they’ll stop coming to the clinic if you do?”
What a strong answer does
- Takes the patient’s worry seriously and asks why before saying no.
- Is honest, kindly, that a symptom affecting their care has to be shared with the care team.
- Explains in plain words how sharing it protects the patient.
- Keeps the patient’s trust where possible and documents the conversation.

Before you ask
Is an AI good enough?
For the reps, yes. It asks, listens and follows up on what you actually said, up to two hours a day, at 2 a.m. or the night before. Then it scores four skills and quotes your own words back, so you know exactly which answer to fix.
Voice only?
Yes, no camera. You practice saying it, which is the part that goes wrong. It does not grade body language.
Will it know my program?
Upload your resume and paste the program’s page. It asks why there from what the page says. It is built not to guess at facts the page doesn’t give.
How fast can I start?
Setup takes about two minutes and needs no account. You choose a plan before your first interview.
How it works
Set up in about two minutes, then interview out loud and see your scores.
-
Add your application and the program
Upload your resume or paste your personal statement, then paste the program’s page. Both are optional, and setup takes about two minutes.
-
Interview out loud
Pick 10, 15 or 20 minutes. One AI interviewer asks, listens and follows up on what you actually said.
-
Get scored on four skills
Insight, communication, ethical reasoning and teamwork, each scored, with your own words quoted back and feedback question by question.
-
Go again before the next program
Swap in the next program’s page and practice the questions that interview will bring.
The night before
The same evening, two ways.
Without rehearsing
- Your “why PA” answer still sounds like “why not medicine”.
- You’ve logged the hours, but every patient story comes out as a list.
- You’ve never said “why our program” out loud, only in your head.
After practicing out loud
- Your “why PA” is about the role you want, with a PA you watched in it.
- You tell one patient story, in order, and it ends on what you learned.
- Your “why our program” names something on the program’s own page.
Good to know
15 minutes by default
Choose 10 minutes for one MMI station, or 15 or 20 for a one-to-one or panel interview.
Voice only
Voice only: no camera and no video, so no feedback on body language. Your spoken answers are transcribed so they can be scored.
Your interviewer’s accent
Your interviewer speaks with an American accent. You can change it in Settings.
Invitations can come at any point in the cycle, so practice before yours arrives.
Questions
What to know before you start practicing.
Is the interviewer a real person?
Does it use my camera or record video?
Can I practice for a specific program?
How long is a session?
What does it cost, and can I cancel?
What doesn’t it cover?
