Questions you’ll practice

Common phrasings of what this interview asks, and what each one tests. An AI panel interviewer works from your own application, so expect follow-ups on what you say.

  1. “Talk me through a drip you titrate regularly and how it works.”

Tests: explaining your own practice clearly

  2. “Why do you want to become a nurse anesthetist?”

Tests: motivation grounded in the actual role

  3. “Tell me about the sickest patient you have cared for.”

Tests: the acuity of your experience, explained clearly

  4. “What would you do if you disagreed with a physician’s order?”

    Tests: advocacy and safe escalation

  5. “Why NP, rather than staying at the bedside or becoming a physician?”

Tests: understanding of the NP scope of practice

  6. “Tell me about a time you made a mistake with a patient.”

Tests: ownership, reporting and what changed

  7. “How will you cope with the demands of a doctoral program?”

Tests: realistic planning for an intense program

  8. “Tell me about a conflict with a colleague and how it ended.”

Tests: teamwork and professional conflict resolution

  9. “Why our program?”

Tests: research into this program specifically

Safe call, but the panel had to ask when you escalated.

In your words
“So we started fluids, and then, um, eventually I called the resident…”

Do this next time

Say what you noticed, what you did first and when you escalated, in that order.

By question
  1. “Talk me through a drip you titrate regularly and how it works.”

Clear and confident. Add how you decide when to titrate.

  2. “Tell me about the sickest patient you have cared for.”

High acuity came through. Cut the setup and get to your decision sooner.

  3. “Why do you want to become a nurse anesthetist?”

Sincere. Name one CRNA you worked with and what you saw them do.

One question, and what a strong answer does

An example of the kind of question you’ll be asked, and what the feedback looks for.

Illustrative example, not a real session
Panel interviewer

“Tell me about a time a patient’s condition changed quickly on your shift.”

Follow-up: “Looking back, what would you do differently?”

What a strong answer does

  • Sets the scene in a sentence: the unit, the patient and what changed, with no identifiers.
  • Walks through what was noticed first, what was done and who was called, in order.
  • Shows the judgment: why that step, and when it was time to escalate.
  • Closes honestly on what was learned and carried into practice.

Before you ask

Is an AI good enough?

For the reps, yes. It asks, listens and follows up on what you actually said, up to two hours a day, at 2 a.m. or the night before. Then it scores four skills and quotes your own words back, so you know exactly which answer to fix.

Will it quiz me on pharmacology?

No. It may ask you to talk through a drip you manage, as panels do, but the feedback is on how clearly you explain and reason. There are no dosing or physiology quiz questions.

Will it know my program?

Upload your resume and paste the program’s page. It asks why there from what the page says. It is built not to guess at facts the page doesn’t give.

How fast can I start?

Setup takes about two minutes and needs no account. You choose a plan before your first interview.

How it works

Set up in about two minutes, then interview out loud and see your scores.

  1. Add your resume and the program

Upload your resume or paste your personal statement, then paste the program’s page. Both are optional, and setup takes about two minutes.

  2. Interview out loud

Pick 10, 15 or 20 minutes. One AI panel interviewer asks, listens and follows up on what you actually said.

  3. Get scored on four skills

Insight, communication, ethical reasoning and teamwork, each scored, with your own words quoted back and feedback question by question.

  4. Go again before the next program

Swap in the next program’s page and practice the questions that panel will bring.

The night before

The same evening, two ways.

Without rehearsing

  • You can run the drips in your sleep. You’ve never explained one out loud to a panel.
  • Your sickest patient story starts at the beginning of the shift.
  • You’ve thought about “why CRNA” for years and never said it in under a minute.

After practicing out loud

  • You’ve talked a drip through out loud, cleanly, with a follow-up behind it.
  • Your sickest patient story starts at the moment things changed.
  • Your “why CRNA” is short, specific and sounds like you.

Good to know

15 minutes by default

Choose 10, 15 or 20 minutes. Real panels often run longer.

Voice only

Voice only: no camera and no video, so no feedback on body language. Your spoken answers are transcribed so they can be scored.

Your interviewer’s accent

Your interviewer speaks with an American accent. You can change it in Settings.

Questions

What to know before you start practicing.

Is the interviewer a real person?
No. One AI panel interviewer asks the questions out loud, listens to your answer and follows up on what you actually said.
Does it use my camera or record video?
No. It is voice only: no camera and no video, so there is no feedback on body language. Your spoken answers are transcribed so they can be scored.
Will it quiz me on pharmacology?
No. Clinical scenarios are talked through for your reasoning, priorities and when you would escalate. There are no dosing or physiology quiz questions.
Can I practice for a specific program?
Yes. Paste the program’s own page during setup and the interviewer asks why that program, from what the page says. It is built not to guess at facts the page doesn’t give.
How long is a session?
You choose 10, 15 or 20 minutes; 15 is preselected. Real panels often run longer.
What does it cost, and can I cancel?
$29.99 a month or $12.99 a week, in US dollars, with up to two hours of interviews a day. Cancel anytime in Settings, with no cancellation fee, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
What doesn’t it cover?
Each session is one spoken interview with one AI interviewer. It does not cover pharmacology and physiology quizzes, dosing questions, certification exams, group interviews or written tasks.
