Make practice fit into your week
Choose a regular time to practise so preparation has a place in your week. Start with a short session focused on the role you want. Review the feedback while the answer is still fresh, write down one change and return to a similar question in your next session.
- Use the actual job description so the rehearsal stays relevant.
- Work on one goal, such as getting to the point sooner or explaining a decision.
- Keep a few notes about your examples, rather than trying to memorise complete answers.
Spend your practice time answering
Bossed guides the conversation so you can concentrate on explaining your experience. After each spoken mock, use the feedback to pick one change for your next session. Start with the free quiz and preparation plan, then choose a paid plan for spoken interviews.

Practise one answer, then a follow-up
What would you bring to this team?
- Jot down the main point, the example you will use and the result you want to explain.
- Record your answer out loud. Listen for anything a person unfamiliar with your work would struggle to follow.
- Answer again with that part made clearer. Then ask yourself: “What is one example that proves the strength you chose?”
